John Barrett is an experienced professional with a strong background in management and security. Currently serving as the General Manager at African Parks Network since July 2016, John has previously held significant positions such as Security Advisor in the Middle East from August 2012 to October 2015, and Personnel Director with the UK Ministry of Defence from 2008 to 2012. Additional roles include Operational Liaison at the British Embassy in Washington DC from 2006 to 2008 and Operational Policy with the UK Ministry of Defence from 2004 to 2006. John Barrett's educational background includes study at Buckinghamshire New University and Staff College, Camberley.
