Jon Boobyer is an experienced finance professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Group Financial Controller at Africa Mobile Networks Ltd since January 2019, Jon previously held various senior roles at Nokia Networks from 2000 to 2018, including Customer Business Controller - EE and Head of F&C UK Operators. Earlier career experience includes positions at Volkswagen Group UK Ltd, SEAT UK, and Skoda UK, encompassing roles in accounting and financial management. Jon began a professional journey as an Auditor at KPMG from 1988 to 1991. Jon holds a BA in Economics from The University of Manchester, where education was completed from 1985 to 1988.
