Genevieve Buys is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in the data center and energy sectors. Currently serving as Senior Project Manager at Africa Data Centres since October 2021, Genevieve is focused on the expansion of data centers in Cape Town. Prior roles include Project Manager at Mace and ownership of a small business specializing in corporate and personalized gifts. Genevieve's robust background at Eskom Holdings spans over 14 years, encompassing various leadership positions that involved managing specialized maintenance, program management, and providing strategic direction within the Project Management Centre of Excellence. Genevieve holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and has completed multiple management and project management development programs.
