Beth Handy has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Beth is currently working at AFL-CIO as the Associate Director for Analytics since November 2021. Along with their marketing role at the university, they also held the positions of Marketing Manager and Marketing Project Coordinator earlier in their career. Beth has also worked as a Publications Consultant for herself from January 2012 to December 2012. Beth has prior experience in the communications field, having worked at Jobs with Justice and American Rights at Work in various roles, including Deputy Director of Communications. Additionally, they have worked at Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund in roles such as Assistant to the President and National Political Director and Community Organizer, respectively.
Beth Handy earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Policy Studies from Syracuse University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Data Analytics from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2015 to 2017.
