Amanda Talsma is a fiscalist with extensive experience in advising non-profit organizations and family businesses on tax-related matters. Currently working at Afier since September 2023, Amanda focuses on assessing labor relations, corporate tax obligations for foundations and associations, and evaluating ANBI criteria for charities. Amanda also serves as a fiscalist and lecturer at Hanzehogeschool Groningen since April 2021, where responsibilities include advising on and implementing tax strategies across the organization. Previous positions include fiscal advisor at Deloitte, where Amanda specialized in tax consultancy for large family businesses and non-profit institutions, as well as a fiscal work student at PwC and internships at the Belastingdienst. Amanda holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Fiscal Law from the University of Groningen, completed in 2018, and a pre-master’s in Legal Studies, also in Fiscal Law, from the same university.
