Dmitri Zotov has been working in the software engineering and web development industry since 2006. Dmitri began their career at StekAlex as a Web Developer, where they developed traffic generation systems and an affiliate program. Dmitri then moved to Interlabs as a Web Developer, where they worked on corporate sites for banks and different organizations, implemented Google Maps API, Yandex Search Server, and worked on the company CMS. In 2009, they joined SM Internet Solutions as a Team Lead Web Developer, where they took part in the whole project cycle from idea to support and worked on a big highload project for US and Japan markets. From 2013-2014, they held the position of Project Manager at BMSLab, where they were responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, interacting with sponsors and stakeholders, and development control. In 2014, they became Team Lead Software Engineer at Asocial Gaming LTD, where they took part in the development of an affiliate program for the biggest Russian online gambling project. Finally, in 2015, they founded Affise.com.

Dmitri Zotov received their Engineer's degree in Computers, Systems and Networks from Tula State University between 2004 and 2011. Dmitri then completed a Management in IT Business program at the Higher School of Economics between 2014 and 2015. In 2021 they obtained a Section4 Certified Strategist certification from Section4. In 2020 they became a member of the Forbes Technology Council. In 2015 they obtained a MyTarget Certified Specialist certification from Mail.Ru Group. In 2013 they obtained a Computational Investing, Part I certification from Georgia Institute of Technology, a MongoDB for Developers certification from 10gen, Inc., and an Introduction to Finance certification from University of Michigan. Dmitri also completed the CS169.1x: Software as a Service program from BercleyX.
