Stefan Hobl is a finance professional currently working in Strategic Finance at Affirm since February 2023. Prior to this role, Stefan co-founded and served as Co-CEO of Butter.co.uk from January 2017 to January 2023, leading the first UK BNPL company that allowed customers to spread holiday costs through installment plans and later expanded into general retail, resulting in an exit to Affirm. Stefan was a finalist in the MassChallenge 2018 cohort. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London and UC San Diego, earned between 2011 and 2014.
