Alex Stannard is an experienced broker in the shipping industry, currently serving as an LNG tanker charter broker at Affinity (Shipping) LLP since July 2021, following a position as a CPP tanker broker with the same company from October 2015 to July 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Clean Petroleum Products Broker at EA GIBSON from February 2012 to July 2015 and as a Trainee Broker at Braemar Seascope Ltd from September 2011 to February 2012. Alex began the career as a Commercial Analyst at Grimaldi Group from November 2008 to September 2011 and briefly served as a Marketing Representative for General Motors during July 2008. Alex holds a BA in Politics, History, and Philosophy from Newcastle University, completed in 2007.
