Mary Hannebery has extensive experience in the field of human resources and people management. Mary started their career as an in-house employment lawyer and HR consultant at the University of Melbourne in 1996. Mary then worked as a human resources consultant at Linklaters and King & Wood Mallesons before joining Maddocks, where they held various roles such as Graduate Program Manager, People & Culture Manager, and Organisational Development Manager. In 2014, Mary took on the role of Manager - People & Development at the Grattan Institute, where they were responsible for the overall people function. Mary later moved to Vesparum Capital in 2019, where they served as the Head of People. Currently, they hold the same position at Affinda, a company that provides artificial intelligence technologies for document workflow automation.
