Ilya Lyashevsky, PhD has worked in a variety of roles over the past 17 years. From 2003 to 2009, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Motorola. In 2009, they became Co-Founder and CTO of Good To Know, Inc. From 2010 to 2013, they were Director of Mobile & Web Development at Broadcastr and Mobile Development Consultant and Project Manager at Electric Literature. Ilya also worked as a Technology Consultant for the NYC Department of Social Services from 2016 to 2018. Since 2016, they have been Cognitive Science Faculty at Teachers College, Columbia University. In 2018, they became Cofounder and CEO of ThinkHumanTV.

Ilya Lyashevsky received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cognitive Science from Columbia University between 2012 and 2018. Ilya obtained their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from Stanford University between 1998 and 2004. Ilya also attended New York University, though no degree or field of study is specified.
