Lu Yu has extensive experience in clinical development and leadership roles. They currently hold the position of VP, Head of Clinical Development at Axter°Â˹ʤ¿µ. Prior to this, they held the same position at AffaMed Therapeutics. Lu Yu also spent a significant portion of their career at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where they served as Director, NS/CVM/PAH TA Lead and Clinical Development, Janssen China R&D. During their time at Janssen, Lu Yu held various strategic and compound team leader roles, focusing on diseases such as NS/CVM, retina disease, and PAH.

Lu Yu attended the Health Science Center of Peking University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine. They then pursued further education at the Neuroscience Research Center of Peking University from 2002 to 2007, obtaining a Ph.D in Neuroscience with a focus on Pain.
