William Smith, PMP has over 25 years of experience in project management and related roles. William began their career in 1986 as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Ti- Coating Systems Inc, where they were responsible for managing daily operations for equipment manufacturing and production facility maintenance. In 1996, they moved to Chemetco as a Facilities/Maintenance Manager, where they successfully developed preventive and proactive maintenance programs for two industrial materials processing facilities. In 1998, they joined HiTecMetal Group as a Regional Maintenance Manager, where they managed daily operations of the maintenance staff and facilities management of four HTG Strategic Business Units. In 1999, they became a Project Manager at Hi- Tech Furnace Systems Inc in Shelby Twp. MI. William then moved to Gasbarre Furnace Group in 2013 in the same role. In 2014, they joined AFC-Holcroft as a Project Manager, and then in 2017 they became a Manager Program Management at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing. William currently serves as a Lead Project Manager and Sales Engineer at AFC-Holcroft.

William Smith, PMP has an education history that includes a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute in 2012, a Certificate in PLC Programming and Communication Devices from Macomb Community College in 2013, an Advanced Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University from 2012 to 2013, and Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician from Macomb Community College from 1986 to 1988. William also has two additional certifications from the Project Management Institute, a Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2012 and a PMP in 2012.
