CJ Zhou, P.E. has over 25 years of work experience in the engineering field. Starting in 1993, they worked as a Ceramic Engineer/Mechanical Engineer for Peat, Inc. CJ then moved to Pilkington in 1998, where they were a Supervisor/Sr Furnace Engineer. In 2002, they became Manager, Furnace Engineering for PEAT Int'l. From 2004 to 2007, they were a Principal Engineer for OSRAM. After that, they were a Principal Engineer for Linde Engineering North America Inc. from 2007 to 2010. In 2010, they were a Refractory Engineer for Midrex Technologies. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Oven Design and Refractory Specialist for SunCoke Energy. Finally, they were a Regional Manager for AFC-Holcroft from 2013 to present.
CJ Zhou, P.E. began their educational journey in 1991 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they studied Mechanical Engineering. CJ then attended Huazhong University of Science and Technology, studying Ceramic Sciences and Engineering. CJ continued their studies at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, studying Business Administration and Management, General. CJ also studied English at Beijing Foreign Studies University, Computer Aided Design at Richmond Community College, and Glass Technology at Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). In 1996, CJ Zhou, P.E. obtained their Registered Professional Engineer certification from both the Georgia Board of Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors and the Alabama State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
