Holger Christ has a diverse work experience in the finance and consulting industry. Holger had a role as a Director in the Financial Sector Development Department at AFC Agriculture & Finance Consultants from 2014. Holger also served as a Senior Project Manager in the same department at GOPA Consulting Group during the same period. Holger later joined KfW in 2017 and took on the position of Project Director for the EADB Biodiversity Financing Facility and the Lao Access to Finance Fund. Holger also worked at the European Investment Bank as a Project Director and Project Manager for their Financial Sector Operations in East Africa, where they provided trainings to strengthen MSME activities. Prior to this, they held roles at Deutsche Bank as a Senior Associate and Associate, and was a Member of the Fund Management Team at Green for Growth Fund, European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE), and SANAD Fund for MSME. Holger began their career as an Executive Assistant at Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. AG & Co. KGaA/ Deutsche Bank Group.
Holger Christ obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Universität des Saarlandes in 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics from Universität Trier. Holger'sfocus areas during the Master's program were International Business, Developing Countries & SME economics.
