You Hu has work experience primarily in engineering roles. In 2023, they worked as a DSP engineer at Aeva. Prior to that, in 2022, they were a DSP firmware and Audio System Intern at NIO, where they worked on designing an algorithm for vehicle's chime detection and optimizing it through simulation and implementation. In 2021, they worked as an Embedded Control Teaching Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and in 2020, they were a Rapid Prototyping Teaching Assistant at FABLAB O.

You Hu completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2017 and 2021. During the same period, they also pursued another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the same institution in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. Currently, You Hu is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Michigan, which is expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023.
