Brian Pritchard has a diverse work experience in the field of recreational therapy. Brian started their career as a Recreation Therapy Intern at Skyland Trail in 2014. Brian then worked as a Behavior and Developmental Disability Specialist at Statesboro Bulloch County Parks and Recreation from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they became a Recreational Therapist at Hillside, Inc and held this role until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Brian worked as a Recreational Therapist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, specializing in Inpatient Rehabilitation. Brian then transitioned to the role of Camp Program Coordinator at the same organization. In 2020, Brian joined Shepherd Center as a Recreational Therapist for the Adolescent Program, and in 2021, they became the Lead Healthcare Operations Consultant at Aetos Imaging.
Brian Pritchard completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation with Emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation from Georgia Southern University from 2010 to 2014. Brian also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation with a focus on Therapeutic Recreation from the same university during the same time period. In 2015, Brian obtained their certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification. In 2017, they completed the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
