Kamakshi Zeidler MD FACS has extensive work experience in the medical field, particularly in the areas of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Kamakshi is a Founding and Managing Partner, Director of Aesthetic Medicine, and Director of Plastic Surgery at AESTHETX, a position they have held since 2017. In addition, Kamakshi Zeidler has been a member of various organizations such as The Aesthetic Society, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Kamakshi has also served on the boards of Cancer CAREpoint and Octane OC. Currently, they are a Strategic Advisor at Visionary Venture Fund and a Founding Member of the Femtech Advisory Board at Establishment Labs. Kamakshi Zeidler MD FACS has an extensive education history. Kamakshi began their education at Rice University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology, General from 1995 to 2000. During their undergraduate studies, they also spent some time studying Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Melbourne from 1997 to 1998.
Dr. Zeidler then pursued their medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, completing their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 2000 to 2004. Kamakshi continued their medical training at the same institution and completed a General Surgery Residency program from 2004 to 2007.
Following their general surgery residency, Dr. Zeidler was awarded an NIH Grant for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, where they focused on Clinical & Basic Science Research from 2007 to 2008.
Kamakshi then went on to complete their Residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco from 2008 to 2010.
Finally, Dr. Zeidler advanced their expertise in Advanced Breast Reconstruction & Microsurgery through a Clinical Instructor position at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2010 to 2011.
