Polina Akselrod has extensive experience in embedded software and firmware engineering. Polina currently holds the position of Senior Firmware Engineer at Aescape, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Becton Dickenson as a Staff Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer from January 2022 to February 2023. Polina also held the role of Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Hologic, Inc. from December 2014 to January 2022. Additionally, Polina worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Ventus Networks from May 2011 to December 2014, where they were responsible for developing software for networking purposes. Polina began their career at E-lab in November 2008 as a Software / hardware engineer, where they co-developed a compiler for a custom CPU and designed various computational modules in Verilog.

Polina Akselrod obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
