James Lee, P.E. has a strong background in electrical engineering, with notable experience in various leadership roles. James most recently worked at AESC as the Electrical Engineering Lead, starting in September 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tesla for several years, holding roles such as Lead, Electrical and Controls; MEP Lead; Staff Engineer; and Senior Engineer. James also gained experience as a Senior Engineer at Valdes Engineering Company and as a Senior Associate and Electrical Associate at Sargent & Lundy. Overall, James Lee has a diverse work history in the electrical engineering field, with a focus on leadership and senior-level positions.

James Lee, P.E. holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in the same field from the same institution, completing it between 2009 and 2011. In 2016, James Lee also obtained the Professional Engineer certification from NCEES.
