Bridget Sparks, PhD, is an accomplished professional in energy policy with extensive experience in interconnection and regulatory issues. Currently serving as the Interconnection Policy Manager at AES Clean Energy since March 2022, Bridget leads external engagements on Interconnection Queue Reform and manages a team of Policy Specialists. Prior to this, Bridget's role at California ISO involved significant contributions as a Policy Specialist, where responsibilities included leading workshops and developing policies to enhance resource adequacy and interconnection processes. Bridget has a strong academic background, holding a PhD in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, where research focused on energy infrastructures and public controversies. Additionally, Bridget has held various research and teaching roles, contributing to significant analyses in energy-related sociological issues.
