Garry Schmidt has extensive experience in project management and IT operations, currently serving as Manager of SAP Process & Work Management, IT Operations Centre, and IT Operations Support at SaskPower since September 2002. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager and ITIL Consultant at EDS, managing various technical IT projects and implementing IT Service Management practices. Garry served as SaskEnergy Site Leader for EDS Canada, overseeing performance reviews and staff management, and held a Project Manager position at SaskEnergy Inc., focusing on a corporate-wide desktop operating system upgrade. Early roles included Systems Analyst at Software 2000 and Service Representative positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and Pitney Bowes. Garry earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Regina between 2013 and 2015 and attended SIAST (STI) - Paliser Campus from 1984 to 1986.
