Thom Loomis is an experienced professional with a robust background in management and technology across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Manager of Design, Drafting, and Configuration/Data Management at AeroVironment since December 2020, Thom provides leadership to ensure the quality and integrity of departmental outputs aligned with corporate vision. Previously, as a Senior Engineering Services Administrator, responsibilities included managing IT systems related to product lifecycle management and requirements tracking. Prior to AeroVironment, Thom held the position of Technical Director at Teledyne Controls, overseeing data loading product lines throughout all lifecycle phases, and served in various technical roles with the County of Santa Barbara, focusing on office automation and system security. Thom began a career in technology as the Point of Sale Coordinator at Frame-n-Lens, fostering skills in application development and support desk functionality. Education was completed at California State University, Northridge.
