Chris Collander is a Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer at AeroVironment since December 2021, with prior experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington from August 2017 to December 2022. Chris also served as a Guidance, Navigation, and Controls Intern at AeroVironment from May 2021 to August 2021. Earlier roles include an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at UTA Heracleia Human Interaction Lab from August 2015 to August 2017. In the research domain, Chris specialized in developing hardware and algorithms to aid individuals in daily activities, focusing on dementia-related challenges among the elderly and stroke rehabilitation response classification. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington (2014-2018) and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering from the same institution, expected to be completed in May 2025.
