Evgeny Zavalkovsky is an experienced technology leader specializing in cloud platform development and software engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager at GM BrightDrop since August 2021, overseeing Backend, DevOps, and SRE teams. Previously, Zavalkovsky held senior management roles at Velodyne Lidar, where responsibilities included transitioning the company to cloud operations, and at mapper, where Zavalkovsky implemented software development best practices and managed multiple software teams. With a strong background in software and firmware engineering across various companies, including Reltio and Box, Zavalkovsky has consistently contributed to the successful design and implementation of scalable solutions and complex systems. Zavalkovsky earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
