Florian also served as the Head of Process - Metallurgist at Constellium from 2019 to 2022, managing a team and overseeing product development.

Earlier in their career, Florian worked at the Swiss Space Center as a Scientific Advisor, Materials Specialist, and PhD Candidate. During their time there, they successfully developed and optimized an innovative casting process for aluminum alloys periodic cellular structures and established a robust failure criterion for fracture prediction. Florian also represented Switzerland for materials-related tasks at ESA and managed various academic and research projects.

Florian's academic experience includes a PhD program at ESA/ESTEC, where they focused on the development and optimization of casting processes and fracture prediction for aluminum alloys. Overall, Florian G. has a diverse range of experience in engineering, project management, and materials science.

Florian G. completed their Bachelor's degree in Materials Science at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2007 to 2010. Florian then furthered their education at Politecnico di Milano, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science in 2010. Florian continued their studies at EPFL, completing a Master's degree in Materials Science from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Science des matériaux at EPFL from 2013 to 2018.

In 2020, Florian enrolled in MIT xPRO, where they pursued a degree in Architecture and Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems. Florian completed this program in 2021. Throughout their educational journey, Florian also obtained certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2019, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from GreyCampus and the Fundamentals of Business Certificate from Smartly by Pedago. Additionally, they earned the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from GreyCampus in the same year. Florian obtained the Architecture and Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems certification from MIT xPRO in March 2021.
