Vesa-Pekka Murtovaara is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Aeromon, a position they have held since 2017. Previously, they were employed at Planmeca Oy from 2008 to 2017, where they held various roles. These included Workshop Manager, where they managed the department responsible for inspecting return items, performing factory repairs, and handling customer service operations, as well as measuring and reporting the quality level of the company's products. Vesa-Pekka was also a Technical Product Specialist, providing technical support to an international dealer network, planning and conducting technical training of Planmeca's distributors, and participating in the installations of large dental universities and teaching hospitals. Additionally, they were a Production Development Engineer. Prior to Planmeca Oy, Vesa-Pekka was a Customer Service Representative at Tellabs in 2007 and 2008.

Vesa-Pekka Murtovaara completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Industrial Management from Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia in 2008. Vesa-Pekka was an exchange student at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University from 2006 to 2007, studying Engineering/Industrial Management. Additionally, they attended the Reserve Officer School, Finnish Defence Forces in 2003.
