Auni Somero is a Senior R&D Engineer at Aeromon since October 2018, with prior experience as an R&D Engineer. Previous roles include General Expert and Deputy Safety and Operations Coordinator at MAGIC Telescopes, and a Young Researcher position at the University of Turku, focusing on astrophysical research. Auni has also served as a Support Astronomer at both the Nordic Optical Telescope and retook the position previously held from 2007-2008. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Turku, complemented by business studies at Turku School of Economics and a Master of Science in Physical Sciences from the University of Helsinki.
