Matthew Simmons is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations management, program development, and team leadership within the field of LiDAR and mapping technologies. Currently serving as General Manager for LiDAR at Aerometrex since February 2020, Matthew has previously held key roles, including Assistant General Manager for LiDAR and Associate Manager of Maps at TomTom, where responsibilities spanned multiple regions in Asia-Pacific. Prior experience includes positions as Planning & Production Manager and Senior Planning Processing Officer at Atlass-Aerometrex Pty Ltd, Pre-Sales GIS Consultant at MapData Services Pty Ltd, Remote Sensing/GIS Analyst at HyVista Corporation Pty Ltd, and GIS Consultant at SGS Economics and Planning. Matthew holds a degree in Science with a focus on Physical Geography and Spatial Information Systems from UNSW.
