Omar El Sagheer is a Mathematical Modeling Team Lead and Software Engineer at aems.ai since September 2022, where responsibilities include designing and deploying reinforcement learning algorithms and implementing machine learning models for management applications. Previously, Omar held positions as an Artificial Intelligence Engineering Intern at American University of Beirut from September 2021 to November 2022 and as a Research Assistant at the same institution from February 2021 to July 2021. In June 2019, Omar taught mathematics to grade 10 UNRWA students, mentoring them for their upcoming SATs in partnership with Duke University students. Omar El Sagheer is pursuing a Master of Science in Computational Science at American University of Beirut, expected to graduate in 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the same university, completed in 2020. Education also includes obtaining the Lebanese Official Baccalaureate in General Sciences from Nazih Al Bizri Public High School between 2014 and 2017.
