Eric Gray is a Government Information Specialist with the U.S. Department of Education since January 2021 and possesses extensive experience in data privacy and civil rights. As a Subject Matter Expert at AEM Corporation since September 2012, Eric specializes in student data privacy, security, and compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Additionally, Eric has served as Technical Lead for the Civil Rights Data Collection, providing support for the 2011-2012 initiative. Since August 2007, Eric has also worked as a Data Collection Support Specialist with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Guilford College.
