Liz Marks has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Liz is currently the Director of Product Marketing at Advanced Environmental Monitoring, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, Liz worked at Vericast from January 2018 to June 2021 as a Senior Product Marketing Manager. At Vericast, they led Product Marketing for various products and achieved notable accomplishments, including transforming the positioning of the Valassis Consumer Graphâ„¢ to address industry changes regarding consumer privacy.

From July 2007 to March 2010, Liz was the AG ThinkPad Brand Manager, responsible for the ThinkPad transaction portfolio and achieving Topseller and Edge/SL unit, revenue, and profit objectives.

Earlier in their career, Liz worked as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Pergo, Inc from November 2006 to July 2007, where they played a key role in developing and implementing marketing programs for laminate flooring. Prior to Pergo, Liz was a Merchandise Manager at Lowe's Companies from June 2005 to July 2006, where they directed the windows product group and collaborated with cross-functional teams to optimize sales initiatives.

Overall, Liz Marks has a proven track record in product marketing, strategic planning, product launches, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple industries and companies.

Liz Marks has a strong educational background. Liz obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, specializing in Customer and Product Management. Liz attended this school from 2003 to 2005. Prior to their MBA, Liz completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics at Virginia Tech from 1992 to 1994.

In addition to their academic degrees, Liz has also obtained a certification in "Influence Through Storytelling" from Pragmatic Institute in May 2022.
