Ilse Gayl has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ilse began their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado - Boulder from 1979 to 1983. Ilse then worked as a Research Scientist at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 1981 to 1988. Throughout their career, Ilse has held various leadership roles and co-founded multiple companies. Ilse served as President and co-founder of DIAD Inc., a system integration company specializing in flood early warning systems, from 1992 to 2003. Ilse was also the CEO and co-founder of Classworks, a provider of interactive web-based training, from 1996 to 1999. Ilse was a Technical Sales Engineer at Intrado, where they contributed to the transition of public safety information systems to enterprise E-9-1-1 software platforms and SaaS. Ilse later co-founded OneRain Incorporated in 1992, where they served as CEO from 1997 to 2011 and as Co-founder and Chairman until 2018.
