Eric has three decades of leadership success in a variety of businesses including Optical, Accessories and Consumer Packaged Goods, in both domestic and international markets. Prior to joining Acuity, Eric served as Executive Vice President – Fossil Group, leading their $3 Billion Global Licensed Watch and Jewelry business. In this capacity, he was accountable for all business development, licensing, marketing, product design and product development. Prior to that, Eric spent 18 years at the Luxottica Group in key leadership positions including the President of LensCrafters North America where he had full P&L responsibility for the world’s leading Optical retail chain with 1,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada. Under his collaborative leadership, Eric transformed their business strategy, customer experience and management team philosophy resulting in significant growth in associate engagement, customer satisfaction and sales. Additionally, while at Luxottica, Eric was Chief Executive of GMO Opticas based in Santiago, Chile, integrating 500 optical practices in Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Columbia into Luxottica. He also had successful leadership roles as the General Manager of Target Optical, VP at Pearle Vision, VP at Sunglass Hut and helped lead the integration of Ray Ban into Luxottica. Prior to Luxottica, Eric spent nearly a decade in Brand Management at Procter & Gamble and Kao. Eric is highly respected within the industry and well-known for his results-oriented leadership, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for developing talent.
