Omar Riad has extensive experience in procurement and materials management, particularly within the power business sector. Currently serving as the Lead for Procurement & Materials Management in the Power Business Unit at AECOM since 2014, Omar previously held similar roles at URS Corporation from 2007 to 2014, including Subcontracts Group Lead and Sr. Manager of Global Strategy & Sourcing. Omar's career began in 2000 at Washington Group International as a Procurement/Subcontracts Manager, and earlier roles include Procurement Manager at Raytheon Engineers and Construction and Senior Project Buyer at Ebasco Overseas Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of UAE and graduate studies in Construction Management and Structural Analysis at Syracuse University.
