Dax Sparks is a Senior Hydropower Engineer at Associated Electric Cooperative Inc., where responsibilities include hydropower project management and providing technical feedback on rehabilitation and maintenance projects. Previously, Dax served as a Senior Steam Turbine Engineer, managing turbine-generator projects and developing long-term maintenance plans for coal-fired steam power plants. Earlier experience includes project management in various maintenance and construction projects as a Mechanical Engineer and working as a Senior Engineering Specialist at General Dynamics Land Systems on the Abrams Main Battle Tank. Dax also participated in Ford Motor Company's Product Development Leadership Program, focusing on platform planning and fuel delivery module re-sourcing. Dax holds a Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering and an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Michigan, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
