Roberto Fajardo is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as Vice President of Engineering for In-Person Payments at Adyen since November 2023. Previously, Roberto was with Backbase from September 2016 to November 2023, where roles included Vice President of Technology, Technical Director, Technical Manager, Solutions Architect, and Backend Engineer, focusing on technology strategy, delivery programs, and digital transformation solutions. Earlier experience includes a Technology Analyst position at Goldman Sachs and a Software Engineering Consultant role at Reply. Roberto holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Aberystwyth University.
