Robert Whitcomb, MD FASA FAMIA is currently serving as VP, Chief Medical Information Officer - Perioperative Medical Informatics at Advocate Health since October 2018. Prior to this, he held the position of Chief Medical Information Officer and Physician Anesthesiologist at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital from February 1993 to September 2018. Robert Whitcomb earned a MD in Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986, following a BS in Biochemistry from the same university in 1981.
