Mackenzie Peterson serves as the Vice President of Marketing at AdvisorShares since June 2015, focusing on product strategy and financial education. Prior to this role, Mackenzie gained experience as a Marketing Intern at Orange Habit from May 2013 to 2016, providing graphic design and social media support, and assisted with brochure design. Additional internships include serving as a Marketing and Graphic Design Intern at the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence from September 2014 to April 2015, where the focus was on interpreting client needs and aligning concepts with branding, and working in the Education Department at The Mann Center for the Performing Arts during the summer of 2014, where responsibilities included designing educational study guides and coordinating event reservations. Mackenzie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh, obtained in 2015, and graduated from The Shipley School.
