Matthew Trump has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Matthew started their career as a Software Engineer at Macmillan Learning in 2011, where they worked until 2015. From 2016 to 2020, they served as a Full-Stack Engineer at Council. In 2019, they briefly worked as a Backend Engineer at Gravity Haus. In 2021, they joined Olive as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented serverless components for an AWS-based system. Matthew also built orchestration scripts and conducted Selenium tests for data transfer automation. In 2022, they worked as a Software Development Contractor at Trailboss Management, where they designed and built a backend application for a tour management company. Currently, Matthew is the Python Integration Team Lead at AdviNOW Medical, starting from June 2023.

Matthew Trump attended Georgetown University, where they studied at the School of Foreign Service. Matthew then went on to study Physics at The University of Texas at Austin, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. Finally, Matthew Trump studied Physics at Willamette University.
