Brad Smith has extensive experience in the legal and corporate sectors, currently serving as President and General Counsel at Microsoft since November 1993, where responsibilities also include overseeing Legal and Corporate Affairs. Prior to this role, Brad Smith held various positions at Microsoft, including Deputy General Counsel for the Worldwide Sales Group and Associate General Counsel for Europe. Additionally, Brad Smith has been a member of the Board of Directors at Netflix since June 2015. Previous experience includes serving as an Associate and Partner at Covington & Burling from September 1986 to November 1993 and Law Clerk to Judge Charles M. Metzner in the United States Federal Courts from September 1985 to July 1986. Educational qualifications include a Law degree from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor's Degree from Princeton University, complemented by studies at the Geneva Graduate Institute.
