Andrew Christoforou has extensive experience in financial accounting and management roles. Andrew started their career as a Manager at Captain Gummy's Fish & Chips in 2005 and worked there until 2012. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as an Intermediate Tax Accountant at Barassi & Co. Chartered Accountants. In 2016, they joined Impact Apprentices as a Financial Accountant and stayed with the company until 2019. Andrew then joined Adventus.io, a platform for international student recruitment, where they initially worked as a Financial Accounting Specialist from 2019 to 2021. Andrew was promoted to Senior Financial Accountant in 2021 and eventually became the Global Financial Controller in 2023.
Andrew Christoforou completed their education in a progressive manner. Andrew first attended East Doncaster Secondary College from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained their Victorian Certificate of Education with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Business at Swinburne University of Technology from 2009 to 2013, majoring in Accounting. In 2014 and 2015, Andrew attended Integrity Education, where they completed a Diploma of Financial Planning (RG 146) in the field of Financial Planning and Services. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, Andrew Christoforou participated in the CPA Australia Program, specializing in Accounting and Related Services.
