Marilyn Lynk

Associate Vice President at Adventist HealthCare

Marilyn Lynk, PhD has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. From 2005 to the present, they have been with Adventist HealthCare, where they currently serve as the Associate Vice President. In this role, they are responsible for advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in the organization's programs and policies. Since September 2019, they have also been the Executive Director of Human Resources, overseeing learning, leadership, and organizational development. From 2015 to 2016, they served as the Interim Executive Director of the Center for Health Equity and Wellness, where they developed and implemented strategies to improve community health and wellness. Prior to joining Adventist HealthCare, they held positions as the Director of Operations, Program Manager, and Internal Consultant. Before their time at Adventist HealthCare, Marilyn worked at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine as a Senior Program Officer. In this role, they led a panel study on racial disparities and discrimination and published a consensus report in 2004.

Marilyn Lynk, PhD pursued their education in Psychology. Marilyn completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University at Albany, SUNY from 1990 to 1994. Later, they attended Yale University from 1994 to 1999 and successfully obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology.
