Cristina Lammers is a seasoned healthcare professional currently serving as a Care Specialist and PA-C at Mayo Clinic Health System-Owatonna since March 2021, and also at Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine since November 2020. With extensive experience in academia, Cristina held the position of Associate Professor at South Dakota State University from August 2001 to May 2019, where responsibilities included developing medical training curricula and conducting best practices research. Additionally, Cristina has worked as an Adolescent Health Field Specialist for the Latin American Center of Perinatology & Women’s Health, focusing on healthcare education and consulting in Latin America and the Caribbean, and served as an Associate Professor at University Hospital & Clinics Uruguay. Educational qualifications include a Master in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Dakota, a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota, and a Doctor of Medicine from Universidad de la República.
