Abby Hegstrand has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Abby began their career as a Registered Nurse at Battle Creek Health System in 2007, where they worked for three years. Following that, they worked as a Clinical Documentation Specialist at Bronson Healthcare from 2010 to 2012. Abby then joined Mercy Health as a Performance Improvement Coordinator from 2012 to 2014, before transitioning to the role of Clinical Services Manager for Neurodiagnostics, IONM, Epilepsy Clinic, and Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinic from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they became the Director of Quality and Coding at Advanced Radiology Services and Strategic Administrative & Reimbursement Services, a position they held until 2018. From 2019 to 2021, Abby served as the Senior Director of Clinical Services at the same company. Currently, they are the Chief Operations Officer at Advanced Radiology Services and Strategic Administrative & Reimbursement Services.
