Brian Dearden MCIPS is a strategic procurement leader with extensive experience in overseeing high-level procurement activities across Scotland’s educational institutions as the Head of Institutional Procurement Services and Deputy CEO at APUC since March 2010. Dearden drives efficiency and collaboration through shared services, optimizing resource utilization and delivering effective procurement solutions. With a previous role as Head of Category for Labs & STEMed at Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative Ltd and experience as an Account Manager at Alpha Digital Solutions, Dearden has developed a comprehensive skill set in procurement and management. Dearden holds a degree from Edinburgh Napier University and graduated from Glenrothes High School.
