Joe Hanel is a licensed athletic trainer and personal trainer with over 10 years of experience in the fitness and sports medicine fields. Currently working at Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine since October 2016 and as a personal trainer and wellness coach at YMCA of the Fox Cities since May 2017, Joe has also held positions at Advanced Movement Studio and Appleton YMCA, where responsibilities included orienting members to exercise equipment and performing fitness assessments. Previous experience includes work as a licensed athletic trainer at Agnesian HealthCare and an athletic training intern with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, where Joe assisted in athlete treatments and rehabilitation. Joe holds a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and a degree in Human Biology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
