Samuel Foster has been a programmer since 2017, when they began working at Advanced Navigation. In 2016, they began working as a part-time contract programmer at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research. Theirmain projects there are POGS and Sourcefinder, which are volunteer computing projects that utilize the BOINC framework to perform various astronomical calculations.

Samuel Foster obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Murdoch University in 2016. Samuel also obtained a Unity Developer Certification from Unity Technologies in December 2016.
