Siddhartha (Sid) Karkare is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor and technology industries, currently serving as the Director of HPC Business Development at AMD since April 2021, focusing on HPC workload exploration and go-to-market strategies for EPYC servers. Prior to AMD, Karkare held key roles at Marvell Semiconductor as Director of Product Marketing and at Intel Corporation, where responsibilities included business line management for cloud and edge data center solutions, as well as strategic marketing for Telco and 5G communications. With a strong technical background, Karkare has also worked in various engineering and technical marketing roles at companies such as Inphi Corporation, Tula Technology Inc., and Broadcom. Karkare holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Strategic Business Development from the University of California, Davis, and MS degrees in Engineering Management and Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University. The academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
