Nancy Perlmutter is an accomplished Principal Scientist at Advanced Instruments, LLC, where since July 2010, Nancy has played a pivotal role in the development and study of the FDA 510(k) cleared IVD GloCyte, an automated cell counter for analyzing cerebrospinal fluid. Nancy's extensive experience includes consulting on flow cytometric assays and creating technical resources for cytometry software, as well as managing research operations at Shapiro Cytometry Lab, where significant collaborations resulted in a highly cited publication. Early in their career, Nancy worked as a research technician in various prestigious institutions, gaining expertise in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence. Nancy holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and an A.B. in Biology from Smith College.
