Troy Griffin is a career Certified Public Accountant with twenty years experience in different facets of accounting. With a history centered on accounting for healthcare organizations, he has significant expertise in Medicare and Medicaid cost reimbursement, financial management, reporting requirements and cash flow strategies. Troy is a detailed minded individual who is committed to ensuring the reputation and financial integrity of the organizations he represents. Troy has served in several management level accounting positions that have added to his knowledge in the healthcare field. For eight years he served as managing partner of a multi-office CPA firm that specialized in accounting for Long-term care facilities. In 2004, Troy left the public accounting industry to pursue an opportunity as an owner and manager of a group of long-term care facilities located in Mississippi. He currently serves Advanced Healthcare Management as Vice-president and CFO. During his time with Advanced Healthcare Management, Troy has been responsible for the financial direction of the organization. Despite the challenges faced as a result of economic and reimbursement changes within the industry, the organization has been able to operate with great financial success. Throughout his career, Troy has also contributed his knowledge and expertise to other areas of the healthcare industry. He currently serves on the Division of Medicaid’s reimbursement committee and the Independent Nursing Home Association’s Legislative Committee. Both of these committees are an integral part of the policy setting process in Mississippi. Throughout his career, Troy has worked with healthcare facilities in many states, such as, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. This exposure has helped develop the knowledge based utilized by Troy as CFO of Advanced Healthcare Management. As an alumnus of the University of Southern Mississippi, Troy holds his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. In 1990, he passed the CPA exam. He is a lifelong learner who continually stays abreast of current industry trends through conferences, seminars and self-study courses. Troy resides in Simpson County, Mississippi with his family, where he is an active member of the community.
